I have seen many black PVD treated watches with scratches.And these scratches cost a fortune to repair.I keep well away from all of these coated watches.I was once offered a new Frank Muller watch for half price,reason was sratched PVD.The Seiko dashshield treatment is nothing short of fantastic.I wish all watches had this treatment.Just remember not to believe all of the sales propaganda they give you about coated watches.They can all be scatched,and they are bloody expensive to repair.
                                 I nearly bought your Seiko model a few years ago in SS,its an unusual watch that you do not see everyday.Treat it carefully
