Very interesting.It is such a shame that people like this are disapearing with time.I know a Saddel maker who is a fantastic artist.There is absolutly nothing he cannot do with a piece of leather.But it is the same story,he has nobody to carry on the tradition.He has tried to teach others his skills,but they all stopped before completing the learning period.I wish our politicians would step in,to keep handworking traditions alive.It has been done in other countrys with great success.Often the problem is just to low pay for the trainees.
