Rolex Oyster Quartz

I have a nearly mint Oyster Quartz 17000 black dial from the last production year . I have all the papers and box , also the sales document from 2003 . Rolex only made 25.000 of the quartz models . James Dowling told me that the bracelet is the strongest Rolex have ever made . The caliber was built to be ever lasting , and was made with finer tolerances than any Rolex mechanical caliber . And the developmemt cost and production numbers make it the most expensive caliber they have ever made .

I think it is the most beautiful watch design ever . It is just so elegant and simple . It is also the watch that other people think is beautiful , when they see it for the first time . It is without a doubt the one watch i will never sell , even if someone offered me double the going price .

A little footnote . Gerald Genta visited Rolex and was shown this watch before he designed the Royal Oak . What i cannot understand is why Rolex did not use this design ever again . Willy.
