We have gone way off subject here and i am for one sorry about this . I could of course have used IWC or JLC or AP in my sentence about watch buyers . But it would have sounded a little stupid to say the least . Rolex is the most famous luxury watch brand , and is the brand that most people think is the ultimate luxury watch . Lets start another debate subject if any of you dispute this . That is the only reason i used the Rolex name in the subject Master Watchmaker . Is this clear enough ? Willy

I am sure that people look in on this site who know absolutly nothing about watches . And i meet people daily who think Rolex is the ultimate watch . I think you are a bit out of touch with reality . I do my best to write in such a way that even absolute beginers in the watch world can understand . But if you wish for me to write a few technicaly based pieces on watches , i can do this just for you . Well if you read enough about watches and brands it is not really hard to understand that millions of people in this world do actually think that Rolex is the ultimate watch . If you think they are all idiots that is up to you .
