Why do people like to live in the past? The only watch made by rolex or panerai in the last twenty years that is anyway different or inventive is the rolex Deep Sea.Panerai is today a real coffee bar diver that has completly lost its former identity.Rolex have copied the porsche 911 and just kept on improving a design that works and is timeless from the sub to the deep sea.Lets be honest for a change and face the fact that Panerai today make only dress watches and collector watches.James Dowling who is considerd to be the greatest expert on rolex in the watch world called the Deep sea a fantastic feat of enginering.I agree with him.And let us please drop the rubbish written about the size of the D.S.It is 43.mm average size today and only 3.mm thicker than most pams.If in doubt just put any Panerai up against the D.S. the differance in quality is obvious even to a blind man.
