Jeg har lige læst en sammenligningstest af BMW M5 og Mercedes-Benz E 63 AMG.
Der blev kåret en vinder. Det er nu ikke noget der vil påvirke mit valg af bil...
Sådan er det vel også med ure?
Jeg overvejede netop forleden om ens (mine) ønsker kun kan bevæge sig opad i markedet - og i pris.
De sidste to måneder har jeg 24/7 båret mit ny Seiko SKX007 og glæder mig næsten til at vågne op midt om natten for at kigge på uret - og måske lægge mærke til, hvad klokken er!
Jeg havde kigget lidt på et Omega Speedmaster, men nu kigger jeg mere på Monsterwatches, specielt SKX009, Orange Monster og 5 Fathoms. Et Marinemaster kunne dog også friste!
Men mht Omega ville jeg hellere have to Speedmaster Professional end et af de ny co-axial cal. 9300. Jeg ville nok også hellere bare have et, og det måtte gerne være pre-owned!

Nu er vintage watches et vidt begreb Icon_e_surprised Ser man eksempelvis på vintage Rolex er der næppe tale om value for money.

Quite the opposite Klaus Rolex vintage Oysters are great value for money.And red subs old explorers etc etc will just continue to go up in value.You cannot lose a lot of money on a Rolex unless it is a bling gold model. Willy

Sådan som jeg ser det er der to parallelle problemstillinger i denne diskussion;
En diskussion som vi har dyrket før er om håndværket og kvaliteten i urene virkelig svarer til de høje priser.
En anden diskussion er urene som 'investeringsobjekter' der stiger og falder i pris på lige fod med eksempelvis kunst eller aktier.

Det er svært at tale om prisen på uret uden også at tage elementer som værditab og værdifasthed med i betragtning, for godtnok kan salgsprisen være høj, men hvis uret straks stiger i pris, kan det vise sig at være en ganske fornuftig investering og så kan guld vel ikke købes for dyrt?

De billige ure køber man vel med hjertet, men de dyre ure køber jeg i hvertilfælde med hjerte OG hjerne. Jeg skal minimum kunne sælge uret til samme pris som jeg købte det eller køber jeg det ikke.
Måske er der en bobbel som springer og priserne på ure rasler ned, vi så det en smule med Rolex for nogle år siden, så vidt jeg ved?

Heldigvis er der firmaer som eksempelvis Steinhart som leverer ganske fine ure med standard værker på højde med de billigste Panerai, men til en helt anden pris.Man får ikke navnet, men et ellers udmærket ur.

Man kan købe vintage ure fra såvel Omega, IWC og flere andre til ganske fornuftige priser, dem ville jeg gå efter hvis midlerne ikke var til Panerai og de dyre modeller. Nogle af de billige vintage modeller stiger sågar også i pris.

Selvfølgelig, men hvis INGEN købte nyt, ville der ikke være brugte at købe Icon_e_biggrin1

Personligt har jeg været glad for at købe nyt, da der er noget helt specielt ved at hente et spritnyt ur ved AD. Men langt de fleste ure er da købt brugt.....
