I just got this watch today, and everything i have read about it,is for once true.
This watch is a bargain,if you can call a watch with this price that?
The first shock i got,was how big it wears on my wrist. The dial area
on watches like this can surprise you.I tried the VC 40mm Patrimony on,and
it wears like a dinner plate.Dial area is very important when looking at watches.
I would say that a 36-38 dress watch wears as big as a Sub.The dial area on
this Lange is bigger than the dial area on most dive watches.
Many reviews have been written about this watch, and i find
it hard to add much to what i have read.My last Lange watch was a rose
gold Richard Lange, but i found it just to thick for my liking.
That Lange could get 72 hours power reserve out of a
caliber as thin as this one, is truly amazing.
The finishing of the case and caliber is in a class, that
the so called Holy Trinity do not even get close to.
I always wanted another Lange to pass on to my son and
eventual grandchildren, but i thought it was out of my economic reach
until i saw this model.
I had to let my 43mm dweller single red go to
get this watch, and i consider it the best trade i have ever made.
The Saxonia Thin is a work of art that looks like a watch,is the
best way i can describe it.
Lange are most probably the only high end brand left
on the planet who make no compromise in the finish of a top model
compared to a entry level watch.
I often wonder why inferior high end watches achieve
such high used prices in the current market compared to Lange.
But i can see that changing in the future, where demand out strips supply.
Mark my words, the price of Lange watches will explode in the not to
distant future. So in my book any Lange is a bargain right now.
