3536 tritium skive
#1
Syntes det kunne være lidt interessant at dele med jer hvilket syn man hos IWC havde på den gulnede farve som tritium får når det ældes, jeg har vedhæftet et citat fra IWC i 2001 og fra deres eget forum;

"As you might have heard IWC uses SuperLumiNova as luminous substance at the hands and dials since nearly one year now. Before this we have used tritium-enhaced zinc sulfide.

We did this changing in the production not at once but step by step there are new watches at the dealers which could have Tritium- or SuperLumiNova. The Aquatimer, reference 3536, which are in production now have all SuperLumiNova.

To your concerning about long-time-discolouring: We could not exclude that this could happend. Our internal simulating long-time-tests shows us that under standart conditions a discolouring of the actual used colours is very unusual. But specialy ultra-violet light as you could find it in a solarium or in direct sunlight at a longer time could dicolouring the dial and hands. This is one of the reasons why we give the commend our customers not to put the watch in direct sunlight over a longer period." (IWC Forum)

....altså man bør undgå at udsætte tritium for længere tids påvirkning af sollys, hvis man vil undgå 'misfarvning'.
Idag kan vi nærmest ikke få nok misfarvet tritium!?

Mvh
