Alle vil have et Rolex

Jeg vil vove den påstand at alle har min. et Rolex de godt ville eje
uanset hvordan de ellers ser og omtaler mærket.

Rolex laver jo en så bred vifte af ure og stil arter at det vel faktisk kun er Seiko der matcher det,
man kan mene hvad man vil om Rolex men deres position i urverden det udbud af ure de har er helt unik.

Jeg var selv Rolex modstander da jeg rigtig startede med urene
især fordi jeg syntes deres sports modeller var for små og kvaliteten på lænken/låsen var for ringe til pengene.

Heldigvis hørte Rolex og fik rettet op på disse ting
og som jeg læste mere om mærket steg min respekt for det og jeg opdaget hvad det er som gør det unik

Selv er jeg ramt af Rolex Deep Sea og Daytona ever rose feber

Rolex is a institution in the watch world.They tend to divide watch freaks in two parts those who love them and those who hate them.I am in the middle i respect them for almost saving the swiss mechanical watch industry by themselvs.Rolex loaned money to many famous swiss brands and enabled them to survive the Japanese quartz invasion.When you think about the amount of watches they produce the quality and reliability is fantastic.I do not like how they manipulate the used watch market just like Patek by buying their own watches and forcing the prices up.They have always been the masters of supply and demand.They are of course overpriced but what is not overpriced today? They do not have the same respect with watch freaks as many other brands but owning a Rolex is like having money in the bank.And last but not least when Rolex unlease a new caliber or watch case etc onto the world you can be sure it is tried and tested beyond believe.Their service is second to none and other brands could learn from Rolex.To sum it up like them or not they deserve our respect for all they have done to keep the mechanical watch alive. Deep respect for Rolex - I agree, but when talking about service, it must be stressed that you must talk about service to the watch - which cost - but probably is OK - but Rolex has a lousy vintage service - do not answer quetions about vintage watches or contribute to list over serials and and and. They could learn a lot from companies like Omega - where service to the watch AND the owners interest in vintage is well treated.

Yes you are right John .That is not good service from Rolex they could learn something from Omega Willy
