Selvfølgelig, skal det være sådan, at også folk uden særligt kendskab til ure, skal kunne få noget ud af siden - og jeg synes da også, at de nyankomne på siden er meget ærlige mht. hvor meget de kender til ure og at dem, der er mere erfarne, er flinke til at forklare og hjælpe.
Og (jeg kan ikke lade være med at sige det med et smil) denne side er vel et forum for urentusiaster ......... trods alt ikke en "forbrugeroplysnings-side" ??
We will never disagree that honesty is a must and a good thing - what I meant was, that even though we have an obligation to be helpful towards newcomers in the watch-world and on the site........... which I think most experienced users are (some to a very high degree)........ however we do not have an obligation to set the bar to the lowest common denominator. This is a site for watch enthusiasts and therefore we are all allowed to be "nerds" to a certain degree.
But honesty is a very big part of the game I very much agree - you should not praise a watch (of feel obligated to do so) when you honestly don´t like it.
However I haven´t seen anyone dishonestly praise a watch in order to sell it if that is what you mean ?
(Sorry for not using my native language - but when someone addresses me in English my mind tends to stay in that "mode"
