No one can deny that the case polishing on the Offshore is high end.Because of the case design the work involved is really some of the best you can see on any modern watch.The caliber in the standard models is a good caliber with a high end finish to the parts.Although it is a very small caliber to such a big watch.It is not a true inhouse watch because many parts are outscourced from other manufactures like most other brands.The design is just a larger copy of the original Royal Oak designed by Gerald Genta.There are many limited versions special editions etc etc of this watch.Many have complications and are built using space age materials.It is maybe today the biggest selling watch for the AP brand.This watch has a image of being worn by people who like to flaunt their wealth like a gold Rolex.Maybe undeserved but many will not buy it because of this.Their carbon models can quite easily be confused with a Casio by many people ,unless they know about watches.One watch critic said about one of the models.It looks like a Robot took a dump on the back of a turtle.I think the biggest problem with them is that because of the sharp edges on the case.It is so easy make a hack in the case.Therefore many people find it hard to relax wearing this watch.A bit like wearing a giant so called dress watch.And of course like any high end watch it costs money to own.The Safari model is my personal favourite but i would never buy it.
