You have a good point there ,and of course brand value has got a lot to do with it.But vintage Rolex do have inhouse calibers compaired to standard ETA in Omega and this means a lot.It is just hard to find any brand with a ETA caliber that is a collector piece.Unless of course it is a heavliy modified ETA say from IWC amongst others.Patek-VC-AP did not need a lot of branding they had Quality inside and out.And in my honest opinion there are brands maybe who can equal Rolex in the same price class but none are better. willy
