I have read about watches where they have used not original parts on rare models from Rolex Patek etc.The ones i read about were found out by watch experts. But if a Forger can work for a year to make a oil painting that has fooled experts.Who is to say that a skilled watchmaker could not make a perfect copy of a watch. But the watch would have to be worth a awfull lot of money before it could pay to do it.There are many vintage watches out there that have been forged in one way or another.Remember we only hear about the ones that are found out.
