Vi kunne måske udvide tanke eksperimentet med, om det betyder noget om dem der designer uret sidder i Berlin eller Glashütte ;-)

Jeg er iøvrigt enig i at Hodinkee har flyttet sig fra at være interessant til en forretning med interessenter.

It used to be a tradition,and still is that Swiss brands used calibers made by other brands.
Even Patek and VC used calibers from JLC,and IWC modified ETA calibers for many years.
But these brands were genuine manufacturers and watchmakers,you cannot say the same
about so called  brands who just order ready made products off the shelf.
                 And you should know,after all the years you have been interested in watches,
that there is a big difference between a design watch and one made by a brand who have
there own production facility and watchmakers.
                       Glashutte  Original are a true watch manufacturer and have contributed a lot to
the art of making watches and developing new calibers.Or are you really trying to compare
these pop up brands with them? 
                    Why do you think a brand like Bremont have invested millions of pounds
into a watch making factory? Let me tell you  Its because they want to be taken seriously
as a real watch brand.Getting someone else to make your watches does not make you
a serious watch brand in my book. Maybe they should brand there watches made in Shenzen
                                Anyway history will judge these watches not me.But one thing is
for sure i will not be buying one of them.
