Two-tone - yay or nay?

Jeg har altid selv syntes der var lidt morfar over two-tone, men det er nok bare mig. Derfor referencen til alderen. Jeg er dog også begyndt at høre P1 og kan virkelig godt lide det, så smagen ændrer sig med alderen :-).

Jeg er med på at man skal købe ur for ens egen skyld og et man selv kan lide (jeg kunne aldrig finde på at gøre andet). Det er stort set også standard bemærkningen på alle fora/Facebook hver gang en spørger om andres holdninger til/erfaringer med et ur, en rem eller lignende. Som med andre forhold i livet kan man dog godt være i tvivl og derfor spørge andre til råds ;-)

In the old days two tone watches were considered very flashy,and they were often worn
by Bookmakers and used car salesmen.
But times change and more people today realise that the contrast in a gold steel watch
can give them a beauty not found in a steel or gold watch.A solid gold Sub is a boring
watch to look at in my opinion.
Reading many of the comments about them on Forums today confirms my opinion that
times have changed for the better.The new generation of watch buyers are more tolerant,
and not so snobbish as my generation.
 I can see a bright future for this type of watch,and unlike in the past i think they will
hold there value in the market.
 i have owned a couple of two tone Subs,and in my eyes they are practical and beautiful
at the same time.Not many watches can do this.
