How do you figure that the Speedmaster is not a tool watch? It is not a hammer or a tire wrench but certainly a tool watch in that it is designed to serve a specific purpose. A dive watch has good lume and a diving bezel as well as appropriate water resistance to make it suitable as a tool used for diving. A Speedmaster is designed as a tool to measure elapsed time.
