Micro brands are not my cup of tea.But they give fantastic value for money in many cases.
New production methods, huge factories spitting out cases made to order, just needing
a cheap reliable caliber put into them. This has allowed many people to own something
individual for small money compared to the established brands. And it has created a whole
new market in the watch industry. They are i think here to stay, and they help to create
a interest in watches for many who cannot afford to pay a small fortune for a wristwatch.
There can be drawbacks like resale value, service etc etc for some brands. But many of
the designs have a lot going for them, and many of the established brands could learn
something here in my opinion.
