GLYCINE Airman SST-06 Ref. 3856

With the beauty of the 1970's and the technology of today, the orange appearance of Airman SST 06 is why it is lovingly called the 'Pumpkin'. The vertical black-gray divided dial is encircled by a 'pumpkin' colored rotating bezel. It is equipped with an ETA 2893-2 movement - the very same caliber used in Omega GMT watches! The case diameter is 44.5 mm, and the watch is water-resistant to 200 meters. It also display 3 different time zone.

This particular watch has been worn a few times only and comes as a complete set with spare leather strap.

Overall condition 9.5/10. Glycine 3856 is now discontinued model, no longer in production. Last know Australian retail price: $A2,200.

The airman SST is typical example of 1970s watch design: fascinating, large, bold, robust- a true macho timepiece.

A must for any serious watch collector. Excellent value for money.
