Sorry Michael,but these micro brand divers do not impress me at all.The Dievas looks like it was made by someone with a very unsteady hand.There are just thousands of these micro diver brands out there.They all use the same recipe big thick crystal-massive hands with big dollaps of lume - shiny space age looking cases - Swiss cheap movements to give them a bit of respect.They are all in the same price range,and they all come with the same marketing bullshit.They all have so called connections to the military,and they all have a dedicated team of watchmakers working for them.And according to your reviews they all work as well ,as watches costing much more.
The problem i have with this is that it is very very hard to find any serious test results for most of these brands.I for one just do not believe that you get more than you pay for in this world.And with these micro brands i actually believe you get less.Because for the same money you pay for most of them,it is possible to buy a real quality product from a real watch brand.And you can at least sell a watch used from an established brand.Over the years we have heard about these fantastic micro brands,but how many of them can we remember today?And how many of these watches do we see for sale with used watch dealers.Not to say that certain dealers do not specialise in selling these watches.The problem is that sometimes you have to keep selling or buying with the same dealer,because it is the only place you can get a deal.
This type of watch can function for years without problems,but so can a 200 kr Timex or Casio.We must give new brands a fair chance.Where would brands like Sinn or Nomos be without the support of watch sites,and watch nerds.When i see one of these micro brands getting good reviews by serious reviewers or watchmakers,is the day i will consider buying one of their watches.Until then i take everything i read or see about them with a pinch of salt.
