I første linje skriver jeg "mig bekendt...", ergo er dette MINE tanker og ikke noget jeg påstår er faktuelt underbyggende, hvorfor læseren ikke må tolke dette som andet end MINE antagelser. Derfor ingen brug af kilder.

Der er masser af firmaer der opkøber egne urmærker: Du kan jo starte med at læse dit eget link  Men dette link er til en blog som i min verden ikke er bedre end egne påstande med mindre der er citater fra førstehåndskilder fra interviews med museumsopkøbere. HEr er et bedre link:

Et AP opkøbt på Christies som fremover er at finde på AP museum. Prisen på +600.000 $ samt uret historie gør det meget interessant for AP hvorfor de opkøbte det. Dette er bekræftet af førstehåndskilde hvorfor linket giver mening.  

At urfirmaerne ikke sætter på salget af vintage ure men kun sælger nye ure kræver vist bare du besøger de enkelte urfirmaers hjemmesider for at erfare dette. Vil du have links?

There are about a million links on the net,describing the manipulation of Auctions in every sector you can name.Only a very few get caught and put before a judge.I used to buy used cars,so i know a little bit about how it works.To say that it is all rigged,would be a overstatement.But manipulation is something that all auctions use.And to believe that watch auctions are above this practice is just plain naive.Proffesionall bidders exist at all big auctions.And there only job is to keep prices up.There are so many ways to do this,and you can read them all on the net.There was a big scandal a few years ago,when a New York Newspaper reported that Patek and Rolex were indeed bidding and pushing up the price of their own watches,and in some cases buying them.It was widly discussed on Time Zone.But since Time Zone was bought up by one of the worlds biggest watch auction houses Antiquorom,many things have conveniently disappeared.If any of our readers can find the link to this newspaper article i would be gratefull.I am in no way saying that all auction prices are fixed,because i do not believe this.But i do believe that Patek and Rolex have used auctions for their own end.High auction prices push up the prices for old and new watches,and give enormous international publicity and prestige.But to be fair to them both,it is a practice that is used in many other types of auctions.And some might say,does it really matter? I think that is up to individual choice.To write about conspiracy theorys here,is totally out of place.When you can go on the net and read about it.Do not worry about links Mads,i still believe peoples honest opinions mean more than going on the net to read someone elses.
