Swatch Group - reservedele, hvad nu?

Det må de have fået galt i halsen…. Lindholts må have fået samme besked som alle andre i branchen, ellers giver det ingen mening men er selvfølgelig dejligt hvis det ikke er tilfældet.

today we have finally been notified by the SWATCH Group that the supply of spare parts for all SWATCH Group watch brands (Omega, Longines, Tissot, Certina, Mido, CK, Balmain, Hamilton) to all independant part wholesalers globally as well as to our company will be terminated end of December 2015. Spare parts for all brands of the SWATCH Group are then out of free trade and therefore no longer available for independant watchmakers, collectors and enthusiasts all over the world.

What does this mean for you?

From 01.01.2016 you are no longer free in choosing your watchmaker. You will not be able to determine who is trustworthy to repair your precious watch. You will only have the options to send it to the Swatch Group repair center for repair or to hire a certified watchmaker. This guy has paid lots of money for his certification. Surely that you'll become a victim of a price dictate.

Should you repair your watches by yourself from that date on you will no longer be able to obtain the necessary spare parts in the free trade like before.
