Correct me if i am wrong.But is this not a place were we can debate watches?I have been on this site for quite a while now,except for a period were i was excluded for the wrong reasons.There have been no problems what so ever until now.This of course has got to do with the new comers and dare i say,old comers from urdebbaten.It is no secret that Urdebatten was formed with the number one priority being,to sell watches.Ureforum was a more serious site, writing threads,just to sell your own watches was forbidden.And it still is.
                                                        The reason i am not generaly liked by certain users,is because i am critical of their so obvious attemps,to praise their own watches,or brands that they sell.I find this very dishonest,and the worst is that many who know very little about watches can be fooled by this.The owner of this site who sells watches never writes or contributes to it.Because he finds it would be unethical to do so.And he knows that it is impossible to be impartial and write about watches he maybe has for sale.I take my hat off to him,and he has my respect.

                                                But i still believe that this site is for everyone.It has been mentioned that i do not like High End watches.Well having read about them daily for the past 50 odd years,i would dispute this.Believe me i was around when Vacheron was competing with PP for the top spot,and others on this site were not even born.And i would put my knowledge of them against anyone in Denmark.I love them,but at the same time i am critical of them.I love watches in all shapes and sizes,and i respect brands high and low.To accuse me of hating them is ridiculous.

                                           It is impossible for so many people on a site like this,to agree on everything that is written.But when people start to write negative things about one another,instead of debating watches,then we have a problem.Because i write something negative about a watch,or even a brand,does not mean very much at all,in the big picture.You can just carry on reading further down the thread,if you do not want to answer.Its that simple!Nobody is forcing you to get into a debate.And you can rest assured with the fact,that i have never ever written anything personall to anyone,because they do not agree with what i have written about a watch.Unfortunatly not all of our users have this self disciplin,let us hope they can learn it.

                                         This started out as a debate about a watch.And then this debate just got misused by people who just wanted to air old greviences.I know life would be easy for them,if i was not around to give the other side of the story.And i would say to all new watch people.Write exactly what you like,i respect all opinions,and would never try to put you down.I am a very tolerant person,and humiliating people is not in my repertoire.
