I think Panerai watches have a unique design.And it is this that gives them a special status.You will always recognise one on someones wrist.Having said that,i must also say that they are most probably the most overpriced brand you can find.In my opinion their quality does not even come close to some brands that cost the half.I have owned a couple of them,and maybe would get one again.But only because of the design,and the fact that they do hold a good price.
