Citat:No it does not have to be bad quality because it is made in China.Often it is better than what you get in Europe
We all know that the same is happening in the swiss watch industry.Brands like Brietling-Longines-Tag etc etc, have been fooling watch buyers for years. But i would say that at least they are bona-fida watch brands, with real knowledge about watches.
Seiko do in fact make and assemble many of their watches in China to answer your question. But the overriding fact about these designer brands is that profit and only profit is what they are about. They are not watchmakers they are marketing companys.30 years you say they can tick away.I do not doubt that some of them will do this.My father owned a cheap Ingersol watch that ticked away for 40 years without a sevice. This however is not a sign of good watchmaking
Not everyone can afford the well known brands, and everyone has to start somewhere on the watchmaking tree. But you can take any of these junk design watches you can name. And i will show you better quality for the same or less money by real watch brands.
