What do you imagine people are going to use , when they want to pay without government interference . Chocolate is not good because it melts - gold is to bloody heavy - drugs can get us all hooked - and who the hell wants to run around with a weighing machine in their pockets . I can see the sense of getting rid of material money in a modern world . But twenty years is just a pipe dream , that will not happen . And to have even the slightest chance of achieving it , the good old USA will have to lead the way . And John you do know what happens when they try to ban guns over there ? Just try to imagine what would happen if they tried to ban paper money . I would not give much for the life expectancy of any President that tried to pass that bill . Maybe a few niave computer nerds would like to see it happen , but they are living in cloud cuckoo land without any political realism in their heads . Dreams are one thing , reality is another .
