Richard Mille watches are at the apex of what you can do in the use of new materials in watchmaking . They do not take the easy path in anything they make . Name almost any material , and they would try to make a watch out of it . They are a brand people tend to love or hate . But make no mistake the strength and quality of what they make is quite simply superb . They have a close working relationship with AP , and many of RM ideas can be found in AP watches . You can argue about the design , but never about the quality of their watches . Yes they have a very high price , but so do many other watches that cannot match RM quality . A Formula 1 driver crashed his car at over 200 km/h , his RM watch suffered no damage at all . They are well worth a google .
