The Danish monarchy means absolutly nothing to people outside of Denmark . So please no more empty ideas about what they mean to the picture the World has of Denmark . John F Kennedy thought that meeting Royal Familys was a complete waste of his time . And many of the worlds leaders have expressed the same point of view . They are just a quaint tradition in the eyes of most people living in most countries . Come on , does anyone believe they are nothing more than a old tradition that is on its way out ? But i know that many will fight to keep them , because they cannot abide change . Even if they have no moral argument for keeping them . The blind leading the blind ?

PS . When working out the cost of keeping these people . Take into consideration Military personal - body guards - pensions - etc etc etc . and you will find that 300 million does not even come close . They had used official bullshit figures in England for years , like they still do in Denmark . But today at least the English can read about the actual costs , and they are 10 times more than the official government figures . The day we can really put these people to the vote , is maybe the only time you will be able to read the truth . I bet most people have absolutly no idea what it costs to have a warship shadowing the royal yacht . Well i do , because i have done it .
