Du har ret i det angående alle de billige 500-1000 kina modeller og underlige mærker som Invicta og lignende.
Derimod så tager du 100% fejl angående alle micro brands som Helson og lignende, da de koster "noget" og folk vil købe og bære dem med stolthed, så de vil overleve i en grad, sådan at de vil blive til vidunderlige kuriositeter for vintage samlere om 30 år
Husk lige at det er ikke noget nyt fænomen, micro brands/ garage brands har altid været til stede i urverdenen og giver os i dag en dejlig indsigt i fortiden!

Prøv at forestille dig en verden hvor alle går med Seiko, Omega, Rolex eller bedre, er det ikke lidt simpelt og farveløst Eller er vi ude i noget bedrevidende snobberi

I agree with you about the snobbery , and the fact that we will get nothing new without new brands . But Brands like Helson and others will not survive . They are only interested in the money and they bring nothing at all to watchmaking . Just look a brand like Nomos to see how it is done . You can fool a lot of the public for a while , but when they have to sell one of these micro brand watches the truth hits them between the eyes . Watch dealers generally leave this type of brand alone because they know that they are basically just design watches like Gucci etc etc . To even think that these watches with a basic caliber costing a few dollars will have any lasting value is a joke . And i rate Invicta to be just as good as Helson , and thats not saying much .
