Palladium is not a new product , it as been used in jewelery for many years . It is lighter than gold or platinum , and more scatch resistant . Palladum 950 is what is used in watch making . It costs about half the price of gold even though it is much rarer . Many top brands like JLC- UN- Chopard etc use it . But i do not think it will ever replace the traditional gold or platinum . The price of watches made with it , are not in my opinion a good investment just yet . But who knows what the future brings .
