Tag is a middle class luxury watch brand . They do make reliable good watches . But they are not worth the new prices they ask for them . And all the used dealers in this world know this . Their calibers are except for a few top models , all based on ETA or Seiko copy calibers . Tag used to make some of the best watches you could buy , many years ago . Today they are a mass produced semi luxury watch brand . They make a lot of reditions of their classic watches and thats about it . I am not saying Tags are bad watches , but many other brands can give you so much more for your money . If you ask me if i would buy one ? I would say yes if the price was right and i really liked the watch . Try to look at used Omega or IWC , you can get a really great watch from these two brands within your budget .
