Very impressive Torben . I do not dispute he is a great watchmaker and finisher . But like George he is a independent , who can use the time
and effort to make a watch like this . There are many others who can do the same . For me it is just one more English prestige project
meant to show the world we are still the best . It is just this attitude that gets under my skin . And calling it The Great Britain Watch is
a joke . When will my countrymen stop living in the past . And concentrate on future achievments . They have given the world some
of the greatest inventions in watchmaking . Many would argue more than the Swiss

I would love to see a real British watch brand in the class of say Lange . Making every part of the
watch inhouse and keeping to the traditions of former great masters like Harrison - Arnold- Daniels etc etc . So even though i can admire
the skill that went into making this watch . It is just one of many special watches built almost daily by independent watchmakers everywhere .
And therefore nothing that will make the watch industry sit down and think .
