You should buy a watch because you like it and want to wear it on your wrist - not because it might gain more or less value due to a worthless paper.

As I mentioned in another thread I see it as a better investment to buy a cheap watch without b/p in condition - and spend the savings on a Full service at an AD.
Then you get certificate of authentication and a worldwide 2 years guarantee which is more worth that a guarantee from 1995 which is basically worthless.

And by the way... I have seen a couple of places in China selling fake boxes and authentication cards

I am not assuming the watch is in bad condition . We have had this discussion on this site many times . But i think that the majority of dealers and collectors in the world would say B&P is the best . But of course you are right it is up to the individual in the end . Willy
