Best all round watches

A watch that can be used as a daily watch and dress watch .

There are of course many watches that fit this catagory, so i will try to narrow the field a bit .

1. Service costs must be reasonable, within 5.000 kr.

2. It must be able to be used for swimming with a depth rating of at least 100 meters

3. It must be able to slip under the cuffs of a dress shirt.

4. It must look strong and elegant at the same time

5. It must not cost more than 50.000 kr. New or Used price

6. It must keep its value fairly well .

7. It must be able to still look good even after quite rough use


My own choices would be .

Rolex Explorer

IWC ingenieur

JLC master series

Rolex Datejust or Millgauss


There are many more out there that fit the bill , but these are my own personal favorites . I have left out the Rolex Sub and GMT because in my opinion they look to much like tool watches because of the black bezel , but i know they can of course fit the bill for many people .
