I have been researching Omega calibers on the net , and there is no doubt at all that they have problems with many calibers . My opinion is that they introduced calibers that were not tried and tested enough before release . They have tried to limit the damage by upgrading parts . I have not read much about customers who feel cheated by them .
My opinion is that people should keep away from watches that have such serious design faults . Omega should never have released watches with such calibers . History will never judge these models in a good light , and used prices will reflect this .
And to be fair Omega are not the only brand who have had problems because money and not quality becomes the driving force .
The decent thing they should have done was to call all of these watches back to the factory and upgrade them free of charge . But no they did not inform their customers , they left that to people on watch sites to do for them .
Maybe some of these arrogant and greedy brands could learn something from Toyoto on how you treat your loyal customers . Willy
