This brand is a legend in the watch world.Maybe the greatest swiss watchmaker ever Abraham-Louis-Breguet started this firm in 1775.He developed the first selv winding watch and the Tourbillon escapement.The firm changed hands many times after his death in 1823.And to be honest went into a decline for a long time until the Swatch group took them over in 1999.Mr Hayak considered Breguet to be his personal project and he invested a lot of time and money to restore the name Breguet to its former glory.Today they are once again at the top of the watch tree making superb watches of superb finish and quality.The dials on Breguet watches are maybe the best made and beautiful in the watch world. The Classique , Tradition and Marine models are the most well known . I think they are the brand that most express the old swiss watchmaking style , and i think they are beautiful . Willy
