This brand started making watches in 1875 and up until the present day have made some of the greatest watches ever seen . In the beginning they specialised in very thin and complicated watches , they built the first wristwatch with a minute repeater and the worlds smallest M P.They have made some of the most complicated and beautiful watches in the world and truly deserve their place as one of the absolute top brands . In the seventys a designer called Gerald Genta gave AP the design for a watch that would shape the future for AP as a modern brand.The watch is of course the Royal Oak the first luxury sport SS watch in the world.This watch and its development into so many models ex .Offshore as insured the future for this great brand . Today they experiment with space age materials to try to keep ahead of the competition.Not always with great success in my opnion I think many of their models are downright ugly . But you cannot dispute the finish or quality of a watch from this brand and they deserve their place near the absolute top of the watch tree.
