I think some big watches ex. 44mm and over will also be made in the future years. But i think the era of the bigger the better is over.I have noticed on the net that many brands seem to be down sizing their watches to around 40-42mm.Has anyone else noticed this? I think we have been in a period where we had a economic advance where it was ok to show your wealth. And what better way to show it than having a diamond hamburger on your wrist.Today we have a slump and it is not so accepted to show your wealth to others, discretion is the word. But i think personally there is also the reason that big watches are quite simply not as comfortable to wear for most people.I know there are exceptions to this rule for example a IWC Portugueser is a comfortable big watch, and Pams have always been big.In my opinion we will see more watches in the coming years in the 39-42mm range. What do you think?
