a lot of things wrong here:

1 I do understand people have different meanings - that was not the question here (I do disagree with some forms of expressing it)
2 I did not even disagree as such here at all - that IWC is a great watch

What I did disagree with is that you, and a few others, so often when you talk about about one watch - has to mention 3 other watches which are then no good. That to me is not being against some opinion. I just find it wrong to do so.

I love reviews where people goes in depth with a number of brands - but that is not what you do.,

Besides it is as so often apples and bananas.

You could not conclude as some then does, that YES IWC is so great - and Breitling, Tag Heuer are no way near - and then someone buys an IWC Aquatimer feeling is is so many lightyears from Omega with CoAxial or the inhouse 8500 - or new inhouse Breitling or the new (Seiko based) Tag Heuer "inhouse" -

It is fair that YOU think IWC is amongst the 4 best in the world, I did not argue on that - but why do you have to beat 3 other brands in the head - to get your message about IWC through?

Fine that you think IWC is amongst the four best - That then for you puts IWC in front of at least two of the following: Patek, AP, JLC, V&C or Lange - just to mention a few of the other great brands - may be right , may not - but your opinion is absolutely OK to have.
