IWC have been making some of the watch worlds complication watches for years and their top models are far more advanced than say Patek or AP.The portuguese perpetual only deviates by one day every 577 years a record unbeaten by any mechanical wristwatch in the world.The Da Vinci was the first watch in the world to have a calander mechanism that was accurate for 500 years.First watch with depth guage first antimagnetic etc etc the list of IWC inventions is unique in the watch world.One of the most complicated watches ever built is the IWC 11 Destriero Scafusia.This is why i rank IWC as one of the top 4 watch manufactures in the world and believe me i am not alone with this stand point.We had a discussion on this blog earlier this year when certain members tried to compare brands like Omega Tag etc with IWC .I hope this ends that idea.
