Stor respekt. Både et ur med masser af historie og så et overordentligt smukt ur + i rigtig god stand. Et scoope - respekt. Absolut et ur jeg med største glæde havde været ejer af. Du må ha fundet det i udlandet eller?

Jeg har også selv rodet lidt i den historie om første automat krono, og der er jo lidt forskellige historier at få - ofte tæt på hinanden, Jeg lavede lidt konklusion ud fra det som burde være tættest på sandheden, hvis man læser tilstrækkeligt mange hjemmesider, og fabrikkernes egne offentliggørelser fra tiden (fabrikkerne svarede også lidt ind selv).
Seiko er det 3. hjul i at være samtidigt, og det er egentligt overflødigt at diskutere om det var den ene eller anden. De kom så samtidigt som de kunne. Zenith - som ægte kolonnehjul er den eneste som i basis kører videre selv idag

I made some research using many different sources - and direct correspondence with vintage people in the three companies, and came up with this, about a year ago:

Zenith on the 10th January 1969 presented, as the first, an automate chronograph (ElPrimero) by a separate press-conference in a hotel in Geneva.

Heuer/Buren/Hamilton/D&D would therefor wait for the Basel exhibition, but had a conference - at the same date - 3rd March 1969, in New-York and Geneva.

Seikos files are not complete from the time, and they have difficulties in giving exact information, but they did deliver the first calibre 6139, single sub-dial automatic chronograph to shops (in Japan most likely only) - and the fist know calibre 6139 watch, was sold from a shop to a consumer in May 1969. The first two sub-dial auto chrono from Seiko 6138, was prepared before 6139, but not released untill 1970

As an extra benefit, it can be added, that an astronaut (ups only have name as W.R.P.) carried the Seiko in open space as the first automatic chrono in open space - with Skylab 4
