Stowa was a well respected brand in the twentys and thirtys.Today they are one of many brand names taken out of mothballs to make a quick buck on past achievments.I am not saying they are rubbish.But you get what you pay for and the watches they make today cannot be compaired with what they made in the past and that is a great pity.You get a basic ETA caliber that costs a few dollars in a case that any other cheap watch maker can equal or beat.So there is no way at all you can compare a Stowa with any IWC.All you have to do is take a Stowa in one hand and a IWC in the other and if you are not blind and insensitive you will see and feel why the IWC should cost one thousand times more.Apart from this minor criticism Stowa make great watches Willy
