Svaret er, at de ikke har en nøje fortegnelse over boxes - de kan normalt se om de passer til et bestemt år 10. Visse fulgte bare et bestemt ur, andre fulgte serier/modeller
De anbefaler den store "a journey through time" som har mange annoncer med - og der ser man oftest boxen.
Der var forskel på den internationale kollektion og f.eks specielt lavet til USA eller Tyskland (og måske andre??) - så det er ikke helt nemt. Her er svaret:
Dear John,
The best way to know about the correct boxes is to have a look at the new Omega book "A Journey Through Time" as a lot of pictures and ads are showing the corresponding boxes. Our archives sometimes show the correct boxes as well but this is rather seldom and we usually don't know what is the correct box for a certain type of watch. However, we know by experience if a box is from the 50's, 60's, 70's or 80's, etc., most of the time whithout knowing if it was made only for a couple of watches or for all watches from a certain line or collection. Then it is even more complicated if we are talking about certain markets (like USA or Germany for instance) where the boxes were made specially for these countries and were differing from the Swiss ones made for our International Collection. Have a look then at the new Omega book and also at the "Master Of Omega" (only Speedmasters, from Italian author Alberto Isnardi), it should already help you!
