Top 5 divers

Here is my top 5 rated at what they can do and build quality.

1. IWC Porsche design Ocean 2000 German Military Dive Model .Very rare and without a doubt the most sophisticated dive watch ever made.

2. IWC Aquatimer 2000 meter watches . Nearly all other brands needed a Helium valve to reach the same depth rating. These watches are just so well made they do not need a Helium valve .

3. Girrard Perregaux 3000 meter. I have read that this watch was voted no 1 in a test of 15 of the worlds best divers . The quality of the case and caliber is in a special class .

4. Rolex Sea Dweller . For me the best Rolex ever made. Just feels more solid and tool than a Sub .

5. Rolex Deep Sea. A fantastic bit of engineering and a bit over the top . But to build a watch that has not got a 40mm thick case or is filled with oil , that can reach those depths is amazing .

I have not mentioned many popular divers because to be honest most of them are just desk divers that can be used for hobby divers . The GP Seahawk and the Rolex Deep Sea could be looked at as a combination of serious diver and desk diver in my opinion . Willy
