When Elvis started he was real enough , but he turned into a bad actor and a Las Vegas joke . Jerry Lee Lewis was the real thing all his life . It is only the early recordings with Elvis that are considered serious rock music . But he is a light weight compaired to artists like Hendrix - Dylan - The Stones - Pink Floyd - etc etc . He was a lot like the Beatles , sold loads of records to a broad public . But never really contributed that much to rock music . In England and USA for example The Stones and Led Zepplin were much bigger than the Beatles or Elvis for the young generation . Willy
