Man skal vel ikke brokke sig over Google, de klarer jo sådan en oversættelse så det siger lidt, men lad os se et par ting som kan gøre det klarere. Jeg vil ikke ind i hele oversættelsen, men mener at det er nødvendigt lige at pille ved oversættelsen af f. d Ebauches som "google" får til "Factory of outlines". Det skal oversættes på engelsk til "movement blanks", som jeg lige forklarer her, ud fra ordbogen:

Ebauche = French term (but commonly used in English-speaking countries) for a movement blank, i.e. an incomplete watch movement which is sold as a set of loose parts, comprising the main plate, the bridges, the train, the winding and setting mechanism and the regulator. Eterna byggede færdige ure, men det var i lang tid samme fabrik. Der er i visse kalibre meget tydelige sammenfald, bla. a. i Eterna rotoren.
