Explorer eller Submariner på nato?

I do not think any of the two watches look better on a nato strap.They were used by the military because it made the watches cheaper to buy.For me its like putting a Brian spoiler on a Rolls Royce.Many military watches are issued with nato straps and collectors try to keep as original as possible.But i knew a lot of soldiers who dumped their nato staps and used something that looked better than a cheap piece of cloth.And i know from experience that fiddling around with a nato strap is a bore when you are in a real hurry.
