There is a huge difference between the finish on a AP compaired to a Rolex.But you are right about how much money counts in the way that you treat the watch.You just forgot one thing.The caliber in the Rolex is much much stronger than the AP caliber that is high end finish and delicate.The case of a Rolex is built for very hard use indeed that is why many prof divers use them as a back up watch.I have never heard or read about any diver who uses a AP.We have to be real here ,to suggest that AP make serious dive watches is in my opinion a joke.AP are not and have never been a Brand like Rolex who spend Millions developing calibers and watch cases that are considered to be some of the most reliable in the world.AP are a high end watch brand who are famous for the finish of their watches.We are talking about two completly different watches here.
