I have been waiting to get this model again for many years. I once had this watch about ten years ago, the older version with a metal bezel. I always regretted selling it, because in my eyes it is next to the Blancpain 50 fathoms the most beautiful dive watch ever made. It is far from the best, but in my opinion it catches the light like no other watch i have ever owned. 

I tried the new model with the wavy line dial, and it is also a very beautiful diver to look at. But i wanted the black lacquered dial, with the ceramic bezel. And i prefer
the thinner case on this model. I am not a big fan of the Omega bracelet on this watch, so it went straight onto a original Omega rubber strap. This makes the watch really stand out, in my opinion. 

I have never thought this watch to be in my top ten of really practical divers, because the bezel is a disaster in my opinion. But god it looks great!
                       
I gave my son the old blue version with sword hands when he passed his student exam, and he loves it. This is a watch that is impossible in my opinion, to take a good picture that catches the depth of the endless black dial, and the way the edges of the bezel and the case and lugs reflect light. I have up until today never met anyone, watch lover or normal people   who do not think this watch it is a beautiful thing to look at. It is a watch that can easily double as a dress watch, because it sits low on the wrist and it is elegant unlike most divers we see. 

So when i saw this for sale with Thomas Chrono, i could not get to the phone quick enough. It came with all papers and box, and the original buyer invoice. It is from 2016 and condition is 9/10 in my book. This one is going nowhere and will never be sold again, and i am very happy.

I have to say that the seamaster 300m line of watches for me are incredible value, for anyone who wants a watch that can compete with many divers that cost the double. Maybe not as practical or as well made as a Rolex Sub, but very close in my opinion. But in a beauty competition the Sub comes second to the Omega seamaster 300 M.

Enig med det meste. Jeg er dog mest til de bølgede skiver, hvorfor jeg valgte den nyeste version. Og i øvrigt også på gummi, da jeg slet ikke kan med udseendet på lænken. Tillykke med uret

Tillykke med et dejligt ur, jeg havde det samme, dog i blå. Men min bonussøn fik den da han blev uddannet MP. Kigger misundelig på hans håndled når han gæster os.

Jeg må indrømme, jeg synes lænken bare er    men sådan er vi heldigvis forskellige.

I mine øjne et ikonisk ur som altid holder

Even with the wavy dial it is a beautiful watch,and i think yours looks much better on the rubber strap
Not that the bracelet is bad,but it takes something away from the watch in my opinion.

A very beautiful watch indeed - one of the best looking of the modern versions of the Seamaster 300 in my opinion. I do share your view on the bracelet - I have had both the blue "James Bond" version (the quartz one) and the 2254.50.00 and although they are very different I always thought the bracelet of the blue version was the lesser of the two. Those two watches were the very first "good watches" that I ever owned !
