De Witt started to make watches in 1999 .
Jerome De Witt the fifth generation descendant of a King wanted to restore the spirit of invention back into watchmaking .
They make only limited edition watches with traditional Swiss watchmaking skills combined with new materials and ideas .
Nothing is ordinary about any watch from this brand . They make great complications that are the equal of any high end brand .In 2003 they made the Premiere Mondiale . This watch has hours minutes , perpetual calender . retrograde date , retrograde hours , months , years , split- second chronograph , minute repeater and believe it or not its a tourbillon
Every watch is completely handmade by a single watchmaker who signs each watch with his own mark .
Price wise we are in the very very expensive end . Models start at ca. 40.000 dollars , but most of them are in the 500.000 dollars and going up class .
I think many of their watches are very beautiful , and would like to own one . Ikke helt rigtigt. Det kan godt være at de har en urmager der laver hvert værk individuelt, men kasser, skiver etc. er lavet hos kassefabrikanten Gecoh ([url]"http://www.gecoh.ch" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.gecoh.ch[/url]" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) der ligger i udkanten af Geneve, der også samler kasserne, så de er klar til at casing af værker. Deres skiver af lavet af en underfirmatil Gecoh der hedder Leman Cadrans.

Nevertheless, fantastic watches and very nicely done. I've inspected several of their watches, most interestingly the Incognito, which is a very odd looking watch, but very nicely done.
