Brand of the week Alain Silberstein - willy - 25-06-2012
Alain Silberstein is a French watchmaker who makes quite prestigious watches with complications such as split second chrongraphs-tourbillon-perpetual calenders etc . His designs are outlandish in that he uses materials like mink-rubber-leather etc on the cases of his watches . He has a unique style on the dials of his watches that has become a trade mark for him . Nearly all watches are made in limited editions . He has built quite a following for watch people who like something of quality that is different to anything else . The most expensive of his watches have heavily modified top quality calibers . The cheaper models are also modified and finished to a high standard using ETA -Lemania calibers . I like his watches because he dares to be different . Willy

Et "rigtigt" Alain Silberstein ur kan jeg desværre ikke fremvise, men han designede for mange år siden et ur for Apple i forbindelse med udgivelsen af et nyt styresystem. Fandt det lige frem af rodeskuffen. De karakteristiske visere er jo ikke til at tage fejl af.
